Associating Releases and Changes

InSite enables you to associate related Release records with Change Records.

To associate a Release record with a Change record:

  1. Open the Release Detail page for the appropriate Release record.
  2. Go to the Related Changes panel.
  3. Click Manage Release Related Changes. The Manage Release Related Changes Edit page opens.
  4. Lookup the Change record that you want to associate, type the Change name and click on Search.
  5. Check the Change records you want to associate and Click Add Selected.
  6. Click on Save.
  7. (Optional) Return to the Release Details page. Note that the unique Change identification number appears in the Related Changes panel on the list of related Change records.

Close all Release Related Changes :

Note: If the Release status is Closed then this functionality will work.

  1. Go to Related Changes tab and Click on Close All Related Changes.
  2. All the Changes related to this Release with status not equal to Closed will be set to Closed.
