Associating Problems and Changes

InSite enables you to associate related Problem records with Change Records.

To associate a Problem record with a Change record:

  1. Open the Change Detail page for the appropriate Change record.
  2. Go to the Problem Relationships panel.
  3. Click New Problem Relationship. The Problem Relationship Edit page opens.
  4. Lookup the Problem record that you want to associate and click Save. The Problem Relationship Detail page opens and displays the newly associated Problem identification number.
  5. (Optional) Return to the Change Details page. Note that the unique Problem identification number appears in the Problem Relationships panel on the list of related Problem records.
